Passivhaus and Part L
The Consultation on Part L of the 2013 Building Regulations contained significant sections on both fixed energy targets and on the adoption of a compliance/ quality assurance system to ensure delivery of as-built performance in line with predicted targets.

The Passivhaus Trust submitted a response supporting both ideas and suggesting that Passivhaus should be “deemed to satisfy” both the performance target and the quality assurance standard.
