Understand what it really means to deliver buildings that perform as designed, and the role construction teams play in achieving energy efficiency, comfort and quality on site. Delivered by Passivhaus Trust Patron Coaction Training CIC, Building to Perform: Introduction provides a clear, practical foundation in performance-led construction.
This course introduces the core principles behind the Passivhaus standard and explores how performance gaps can arise during construction. Using real-world examples, it highlights why quality, sequencing and coordination on site are critical to achieving design intent.
Building to Perform: Introduction forms the first module of Coaction’s Passivhaus for Contractors course, and can be taken either as a standalone introduction or as the starting point of the full contractor training pathway.
Who should attend?
Aimed at the whole team, including clients, contractors, site managers, supervisors and delivery teams, and suitable for anyone new to Passivhaus or performance-led construction. No prior training is required.
