James Traynor from PHT Patron ECD Architects will explore the deep retrofit of two significant mid-century housing developments, demonstrating how Passivhaus EnerPHit principles can transform existing high-rise homes, improving comfort, reducing energy use, and extending building life.
Projects featured include:
- Wilmcote House (Portsmouth) – a landmark, award-winning retrofit and one of the largest occupied buildings to target the EnerPHit standard globally
- James Riley Point (London) – a 23-storey tower reimagined to meet EnerPHit standards while enhancing community and sustainability outcomes
