Introduction to Fabric First Construction (PHT Patron Coaction & Home by Milestone)

Join Eric Fewster, Coaction Training CIC trainer, Certified Passive House Consultant and Retrofit Specialist, for a practical one-day introduction to fabric-first construction and building performance. 

The course explores the key principles behind high-performance construction, including building fabric, insulation, airtightness, windows, thermal bridging and building services. Through real project examples, practical exercises and demonstrations, participants will explore common challenges on site and how good construction practice can help reduce defects, rework and the performance gap. 

The course includes a tour of the Home by Milestone exhibition space, providing an opportunity to explore materials, products and solutions from local suppliers and manufacturers.
