Totnes Passivhaus receives Passivhaus certification

The Totnes Passivhaus (retrofit), at Hunters Moon, Dartington, has received Passivhaus accreditation. The Passivhaus Certificate will be handed over by Rob Hopkins of the Transition Network to owners Adam Dadeby and Erica Aslett in a ceremony this Friday 21st October at 4pm at 11 Hunters Moon, Dartington, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 6JT.

The Totnes Passivhaus is only the third retrofit project to achieve full, Certified Passivhaus status – the other two are in London. The project has taken over two years to realise. Local builder, Jonathan Williams and Middlesex-based architect, Janet Cotterell worked with owner Adam Dadeby on the detailed design and energy modelling as well as careful execution on site to ensure that the Passivhaus standard was met.
