Seeking Architectural Freelancer eager to work on real UK Passivhaus projects & low energy designs
Jim Miller Design (JMD) is a sustainable architectural practice based in Hove and was a finalist for the British Home Awards Sunday Times 2014 Ecohaus Passivhaus Competition (pictured below). The practice is looking for a freelancer to assist with the preparing of drawings and visualisations for mainly residential retrofits and new builds.
The main requirement would be to take AutoCAD GAs and prepare drawings for submission and construction including extensive detailing.
- Knowledge of (or at least a keenness to learn) low energy/Passivhaus design is fundamental.
- AutoCAD essential, SketchUP useful, but other software may be considered such as Revit.
- Applicants will ideally be local to Sussex, but it is possible to work remotely with occasional visits to Brighton to discuss projects.
- Assistance is required ASAP with the hope of forming a long term relationship.
