Passivhaus projects shortlisted for Inside Housing Development Awards
The Inside Housing Development Awards recognise the best housing developments and teams in the UK. This year there has been particularly strong competition, with more than twice as many entries received as in any previous year. We're delighted to see several Passivhaus projects among the finalists, just announced.
Included in the shortlists for both Best residential development (over 71 homes) and Best affordable housing development (over 71 homes) is Primrose Park, on which PHT member WARM were the Passivhaus consultants.
PHT Patron member Hastoe Housing Association has been shortlisted for the Best affordable housing development (under 25 homes) for Sharnbrook, a Passivhaus development of 13 new affordable homes in the borough of Bedford.
And the Best approach to modular construction finalists include PHT member Beattie Passive for their Volumetric Modular Flying Factory deployed at Graven Hill.
Congratulations and good luck to all. The winners will be revealed at a black tie awards ceremony to take place on Thursday 29 November at The Brewery in London.
