A finalist in the 2018 UK Passivhaus Awards, this former brewery building has been converted to an exceptionally executed EnerPHit Youth Hostel operated by New Brewery Arts. The Barrel Store has 14 rooms and can accommodate 40 guests.
Woodlands Oak Frame Passivhaus
Malvern, Worcestershire
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 3-bed Passivhaus boasts a feeling of airy openness, characterful oak beams, and great views from the upstairs living areas - as well as (of course) the superb comfort and indoor air quality characteristic of a Certified Passivhaus.

Topsails
Whitstable, Kent
This modern, spacious eco-home in the popular seaside town of Whitstable can host up to 11 guests. With an excellent airtest result of 0.26 ACH, it's aiming for Passivhaus certification. Selected as one of 40 extraordinary places to stay by the Guardian newspaper.
Cliffemount Hotel
Whitby, North Yorkshire
This is the UK's first hotel aiming for Passivhaus certification. Currently under construction, the 20-room luxury hotel will reflect the local history and character in Runswick Bay & North York Moors National Park. Completion is expected in 2025.
