The Trust encourage anyone interested in building their own home, regardless of whether it aspires to meet Passivhaus or not, to register their self-build interest with their local authority.

Bristol convinced by benefits of building to Passivhaus
Bristol City Council are building a number of new Passivhaus homes on brownfield sites throughout the city. The aim is to reduce bills for future tenants by using a "fabric first" approach with excellent thermal insulation.
