Passivhaus projects up for RIBA Regional Awards
This year's RIBA Awards are back on, with judges soon to be visiting shortlisted projects. A new emphasis on sustainability in the judging criteria sees Passivhaus projects winning recognition for their excellence - four projects are on the regional shortlists this year.

A detached Passivhaus home, designed to fit in with its spectacular surroundings of Ullswater in the Lake District National Park. The home was built to a quick timescale, using off-site timber frame construction.
