From February to April 2026, join a series of Passivhaus retrofit online events, grounded in real projects and real experience. These one-hour lunch and learn, introductory sessions explore completed and near-completed retrofits across a wide range of buildings, offering clear, practical insight into what works in practice.
Learn whether Passivhaus retrofit is right for your project, where to begin, common pitfalls to avoid, and the critical decisions that underpin success. Delivered by those directly involved, each session shares honest lessons to support confident, informed action.

Some webinars in the series are eligible for PHI credit points including sessions on 17th, 19th, 24th February and 17th March. Other webinars may not be eligible, please check the PHI Events Database as the series progresses.

We want to connect homeowners with trusted professionals across our membership who have delivered a Passivhaus retrofit. |

What does participation involve?Sharing a case study and hosting a webinar that is available to the public. The webinar can be held on any platform. The Trust can help advise on setting up booking via Eventbrite. Although you would host the event, the Trust will promote the event to those who make an enquiry. |

Who can host a webinar?If you are a Passivhaus Trust member working in retrofit, including designers, consultants, contractors, housing providers, training organisations, and product specialists then we would welcome your application to deliver a project-based webinar. We encourage project teams to collaborate and deliver a range of perspectives on projects. Eligibility criteria:

What kind of involvement are you looking for?We’re inviting members who have been involved in a Passivhaus retrofit project to showcase their scheme in a series of 1-hour member-led webinars. We’re planning the series to take place weekly throughout the spring, immediately after the TV programme has aired. |

Is this aimed at homeowners only?No, we are expecting enquiries from homeowners – but we could also see enquiries from social housing providers, councils, and policymakers; as well as other practitioners. |

What are the public most concerned about when it comes to retrofitting their home?Following an in-depth survey, which we undertook in 2025, we believe the biggest barriers for homeowners planning a retrofit project are:

How much time will it take?The session itself should take 45 minutes (max 1 hour) including time for audience Q&A, however you will need to allow some time in advance to prepare your presentation. |
