Paul Bourgeois, Associate Development Director

We are delighted to welcome Paul Bourgeois to the Passivhaus Trust delivery team. Paul joins us as Associate Development Director on secondment from Anglia Ruskin University, working on the Passivhaus Trust's key development strategy & programmes. The new role will expand the policy activities of the Trust and support steering new campaigns.

Paul has over 27 years of working in the environmental and decarbonisation sector.  Principal areas of focus are energy efficiency/ conservation and renewable energy generation technologies, green infrastructure, regional energy infrastructure, low and zero carbon construction including Passivhaus, bringing these together to consider built environment intersects and ultimately sustainable place making, and data analysis related to all these areas.  He has worked for local authorities, regional and devolved local government teams, and a national government department.  He has also worked in the third sector, setting up two CICs, and the private sector including establishing his own environmental consultancy in 2007. Paul continues to work at Anglia Ruskin University as Industrial Innovation Lead.

We look forward to Paul applying his expertise and building connections to help promote the Passivhaus Standard in the UK. Please be sure to say hi & welcome him at an upcoming event!

The collaboration between the Passivhaus Trust and Anglia Ruskin University offers an unprecedented opportunity to engage all supply chains and practitioners integral to delivery. I’m looking forward to the challenge of bringing all facets of the Passivhaus world into a more mainstream & accessible position which promotes, encourages, and supports the new build and retrofit supply chain, in all its forms, to deliver faster.
