Over several years, it has been a focused policy of us all at the Institute of Carpenters (IOC) to bring together organisations from across the wide-ranging spectrum of specialists, linked to the timber trade to join us on a reciprocal and cooperative membership basis. We are delighted to now have this latest arrangement in place, with the purpose of this strategic partnership agreement being to support ongoing cooperation between the IOC and the Passivhaus Trust (PHT), as we together work towards building a long-term partnership between us. Institute of Carpenters (IOC)
The Institute of Carpenters (founded 1890) aims to promote, support, and develop its members and the wider woodworking profession. Its mission is to uphold high standards of craftsmanship, enhance the status of woodworking professionals, and foster training and career development for carpenters, joiners, and related craftspeople. The IOC works in partnership with the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) and has formed the Wood Occupations & Materials Alliance (WOMA) as a vehicle for the partnership.
