Passivhaus Trust seeks new Board members
Help drive the Passivhaus Trust forward on the next stage of its journey.
We are seeking 3 or more new Board members to join the Passivhaus Trust team. Several members of the Passivhaus Trust Board are reaching the end of their term this summer, so we are looking for new members to replace them.
Who we're looking for
Potential categories where we would welcome applications for new Board members include:
- Building Client (especially non-housing)
- Contractor (Large and/ or small)
- Consultants/ QS
- Certifiers,
- Material/ product/ modular/ MMC suppliers
- Policy advisors
- Investors / finance/ insurance
- Finance/ legals/ HR /risk/ company secretary
- Estate agents/ property valuers/ property marketing
Ideally, we are looking for people with strong Passivhaus experience, but if you have expertise from another sector that you think would be valuable, then please still apply.
Time commitment
There will be at least 3 or 4 Board meetings per year, ½ day each, plus additional reading/ document review/ ad-hoc advice. The total time commitment will be approximately ½ day per month.
Board members might also be asked to chair/ lead specific sub/ working groups, which might involve additional time input; these would be voluntary and agreed by negotiation. Board members will be invited to attend key PHT events e.g. Technical Panel (1 day) and conference (1 day).

Deadline for applications is 31 July 2026.
Applicants will then be reviewed by the existing PHT Board, and we plan to inform applicants whether they’ve been successful by the end of August 2026, with the intention of new members joining the Board this Autumn.
