Detailed Case Studies now confirmed- UK Passivhaus Conference 2011
The detailed Case Studies of Passivhaus Projects which will be presented at the conference on DAY 1 have now been confimed. They will all cover the lessons learned from planning, procuring, designing and building to Passivhaus/EnerPHit standard. Parallel sessions are themed according to building typologies and cover residential new build and residential retrofit and non-residential buildings. Architects, engineers, contractors and Employers Agents are taking the stage to talk about their perspective of delivering a Passivhaus building'; what the challenges were and what they have learned. The Case studies include:
- Wimbish Rural social housing Passivhaus scheme, Essex- Domestic new build
- Oakmeadow and Bushbary Primary schools, Wolverhampton- Non domestic new build
- Mayville Community Centre, London- Retrofit
Other Projects that will be talked about include Interserve Office Building, Leicester and Montgomery Primary school, Exeter.
