Last Chance to Book: 2014 UK Passivhaus Conference

It is the last chance to book your tickets to the most anticipated event on the UK Passivhaus Calander! The 2014 Conference takes place next week on the 16^th October, at Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre. There are a range of expert speakers, seminars and activities to get involved with; plus netwroking opportunities and exhibitions to visit.

Passivhaus Position Statement:

The UK Passivhaus Conference 2014 will explore how Passivhaus can be used to help deliver Near Zero Energy Buildings.

As part of the conference you will be asked to help us develop a position statement that we can take to political parties to include in their manifesto and therefore influence the next government’s policies. All delegates are invited to participate in shaping this policy statement!

Case Studies:

We are also trialling a new idea in the form of hour-long detailed project case studies covering the Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia, Knights Place & Rowan House in Exeter (pictured right) and the Ernerley Close retrofit project in Manchester. Let us know what you think!

And as always you can browse through a full-scale exhibition area and network with delegates and speakers to bring you up-to-date with all the latest research and practice!

In the afternoon there will be an introduction by the Passive House Academy to the newly-launched Passivhaus tradesperson training involving practical hands-on experience in a dedicated Passive House Workshop.
