Passivhaus winners at RIBA West Midlands Awards

Passivhaus projects made up two of the five winning schemes at RIBA West Midlands Awards 2015. Congratulations to Patron member Architype with a win for the Hereford Archive & Record Centre, recently visit by students as part of a pilot Passivhaus student competition.

And congratulations to Sjolander Da Cruz with a win for River Studio EnerPHit.

Sustainability was high on the agenda and the fact that several of the buildings had become catalysts for regeneration of an area demonstrates the wider value that great architecture can achieve.

  • The Mary Stevens Hospice, Stourbridge by KKE Architects

  • Southwater One, Telford by Associated Architects

 

All the winning schemes are automatically entered into the RIBA national awards.

Winners will be announced in June.
