Mayville Community Center receives Passivhaus Certification
BRE have announced that the Mayville Community Centre designed by PHT Founder Member's bere:architects has recieved its Passivhaus Certification. Although the project is a non-domestic retrofit it has achieved Full Passivhaus certification over the EnerPHit standard which has less stringent demands, such as a heating demand figure of 25kWh/m2 instead of 15kWh/m2.
Mayville Community center is also the location for our next Founder member's and Partner's meeting. More information on the project can be found here.
