Coming soon: Overheating tutorials & new PHPP tool
As summer draws closer and the temperature starts to rise, the Trust is gearing up to deliver another series of on-demand tutorials & interactive workshop, this time focused on overheating. In accompaniment, we shall also be releasing a PHPP overheating tool & supporting paper.

As teased at the 2020 UK Passivhaus Conference, the Trust has been developing new ways to analyse the risks of overheating and ensuring summer comfort in Passivhaus buildings within the UK's warming climate. The tutorials will look at the key indicators for overheating, as well as stress tests and how to reduce overheating risk.
The new overheating tool is a technical addition to the PHPP software, providing a robust overheating check. As a technical addition to the PHPP software, the Tool aims to reduce overheating risks based upon identified key indicators and stress tests.
Members of the Trust have had a prior access to trial the overheating tool and we have received positive feedback. Keep your eyes peeled for updates as we make the full version publicly available this summer.
