What not to miss at the 2022 UK Passivhaus Conference

Taking place in less than a fortnight - here are a few things not to miss at the 2022 UK Passivhaus Conference held in Exeter and online.

2022 UK Passivhaus Conference

With a packed programme hosting over 20 knowledgeable speakers across two days, there is something for everyone with a desire to learn more about energy-saving healthy buildings. Here are a few of our top picks on what not to miss.

Cost of living crisis

1 - Cost of living crisis

Everyone is looking for energy-saving measures right now. Tackling fuel poverty and providing healthy homes is a concern for many councils. From daring Council-led Passivhaus housing, mammoth student accommodation, to the UK’s first Passivhaus leisure centre, Exeter shows us how it can be done and what other Councils can learn from a driving net-zero ambition.

Hear from a programme of experts to discover the realities of delivering Passivhaus reliably, at scale, & cost-effectively. We have a panel discussion on this and more. Those working in the public sector, including local authories and housing associations can join us for free!

UKPHC22 keynote case studies

2 - Cutting-edge case studies

We bring you some of the latest UK Passivhaus developments. Discover the City of Edinburgh estate-wide EnerPHit-inspired retrofit strategies, learn more about Exeter’s exceptional extra care housing built to Passivhaus, and hear exciting Passivhaus Plus plans at London’s Kew Gardens.

Do not miss guided site tours to St Sidwell’s Point running throughout the Conference – offering an opportunity to get a first-hand experience before or after the day 1 deep-dive masterclass. Delegates attending in person must pre-book this tour separately, and spaces are limited, so be quick!

UKPHC22 Networking

3 - Tea & biscuits are back

Whether a chat over coffee, a conference dinner date, lunchtime networking, or natter over drinks, we are thrilled to welcome many of you back in person. It is a great opportunity to meet some of the most exciting organisations at the forefront of delivering UK Passivhaus projects. Meet people with different experiences and backgrounds, but who share the same passion to deliver better buildings and move forward as an industry.

Spaces to join the Conference dinner on the evening of the 25th of October are limited. In-person delegates keen to join are advised to book asap via the welcome page on the conference website once logged in.

The event remains online – so you can still join us from the comfort of your sofa anywhere in the world. In a different time zone? Recordings will be made available to all registered delegates.
